These Enduramaxx vertical break tanks incorporate a Type AB air-gap weir to help protect a mains water supply against Fluid Category 5 backflow risk. They are intended for correctly designed booster, irrigation, process-water and commercial water-storage installations requiring a physical air gap.

Available variants

• 500 litre nominal tank with approximately 300 litres stated actual capacity
• 1,500 litre tank
• 2,000 litre tank

Each black tank is rotationally moulded from medium-density polyethylene. The selected variant states its diameter, height, lid size and BSP male outlet.

Selection guidance

Choose the usable storage volume from demand, incoming mains flow and pump duty rather than nominal tank size alone. Check the exact weir and permitted inlet arrangement, overflow route, outlet size, access, base, offloading and installation space before ordering. A Type AB tank must still be installed as part of a compliant system under the applicable Water Fittings Regulations.
