Join two female BSPT threaded fittings in water, irrigation and pipework installations.

The Hansen Hex Nipple has male BSPT threads at both ends. It is used to connect two compatible female-threaded fittings, valves or adaptors. The central hex section provides a secure grip during installation.

Choose the correct size

Select the BSPT size to match both female-threaded components. This is a male-to-male threaded fitting and is not for direct connection to plain pipe.

Installation guidance

• Confirm the thread type, gender and size before fitting.
• Use a suitable thread sealing paste or tape on threaded joints.
• Do not overtighten: hand-tighten, then tighten a further one to two turns only.
• Do not install below driveways, paths or foundations.

Not suitable for swimming-pool or spa water with high chlorine concentrations.
