Join two male BSPT threaded fittings in water, irrigation and pipework installations.

The Hansen Hex Socket has female BSPT threads at both ends. It is used to join two compatible male-threaded fittings, valves or adaptors in a straight line. The hex body provides a secure grip during installation.

Choose the correct size

Select the BSPT size that matches both male-threaded components. This is a female-to-female threaded fitting and is not for direct connection to plain pipe.

Installation guidance

• Confirm the thread type, gender and size before fitting.
• Use a suitable thread sealing paste or tape on threaded joints.
• Do not overtighten: hand-tighten, then tighten a further one to two turns only.
• Do not install below driveways, paths or foundations.

Not suitable for swimming-pool or spa water with high chlorine concentrations.
